A gem hidden in nature
Embark on a 3 day journey where we will dive deeper into the techniques of Thai healing massage. Sustained by Yoga and pre-hab movement classes, (mantra) singing sessions, a cacao ceremony and authentic relating practices.
There will be time for reading, journaling, walking in nature, connecting to others, or practicing what you learned. All sessions are optional, so you can decide on the schedule that fits your needs.
In the charming retreat centre Smalhoorn, a renovated farm surrounded by nature in Orvelte, Netherlands, with bamboo paths, fairytale cottages, outdoor hot tube, cozy spaces, lots of greenery around and options to make a fire both inside and outside, it’s the perfect place to ground and relax.

A Community Based Learning Experience
This is a gentle dive into the healing impact of mindful touch on our nervous system and soul. Based on ancient principles used originally for enduring the challenges of sitting still during meditation practice, Thai massage is a technique that uses least effort and the gift of gravity, through body manipulation, movement and body weight. Dynamic Thai Massage is based on gentle rocking and harmonic movements of the different body parts. It restores rhythm in the body through a perpetual movement where the giver and receiver become more connected and balanced. In this retreat, you will learn the basic moves, by receiving and giving 2-3 sequences of massages, that will allow you to practice safely and easily. After that we will go deeper and give you many variations to add to your practice.

Full of cozy cottages, bamboo pathways, ceremonial yurts, outdoor sauna & hottub not to mention lots of greenery around and options to make a fire both inside and outside.

With a river passing by next door, cold plunges are a must, followed by restorative breath, yoga and movement classes, in this magical isolated paradise nest.

Learn from a diverse and uniquely talented teaching team
Take classes from two highly experienced teachers in the field of Thai massage , authentic relating, therapeutic flying, yoga, pre-hab and sacred healing space holding.
Together they have more than 18 years of teaching experience worldwide and have shared in diverse events offering the gems of playful creative work, meditation, cacao ceremony & Kirtan singing.

Inez Almeida
INEZ ALMEIDA is an acroyoga teacher, actress, dancer and Thai massage therapist. She has been drawn to movement since she can remember and has to explored many different forms and styles.
Her movement journey started at the age of 9 in the Ballet Conservatory of Lisbon where she studied for several years.
Inez has a Bachelor in physical acting from the Theatre University of Amsterdam, she is a certified teacher from 2 Acroyoga schools , and holds also a certificate in healing Thai yoga massage. Besides that she is also a certified women circle facilitator and has been space holding for the last 5 years. She has been working as a freelance traveling extensively in several continents with her artistic work, and has been teaching Acroyoga intensively throughout the past few years in many communities in Europe.
She believes in sharing with an open heart, creating space for connection, trust and intimacy. Check out:

Jolien Heetkamp
Has been teaching Yoga, Acroyoga, Thai massage, therapeutic flying, pre-hab and authentic relating for over 8 years, certified by different training schools and styles. She travel the world and gets inspiration for her classes from many different communities. Her style, ‘Yoga of Acro’, means she will add some of the beautiful foundational teachings of yoga into he classes. Practicing with intention in a safe and fun environment, she loves to share with the communities those special extra skills and possibilities.
She has teamed up and collaborated with Inez a few times , creating a japan tour of acro and several retreats together.
